Josep Renau created hundreds of film posters during the Mexican golden age of cinema, and we were tasked with designing an exhibition showcasing some of them.
As a tribute to Renau's own style, our design direction was informed by his collaging technique, and the exhibit's program, panoramic mural, and collateral materials incorporated elements from his posters.
Finally, a giant collage was assembled by hand for the exhibition’s 60 feet mural.
